Who we are
AI SiteWatch ("we", "us") is a website monitoring service operated by Seedling Software, Inc., a Delaware corporation. This policy explains what information we collect when you use aisitewatch.com and the AI SiteWatch service, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: support@aisitewatch.com.
Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you register; optional two-factor authentication settings.
- Monitoring configuration. The URLs you ask us to watch, check intervals, baselines, and alert preferences (including phone numbers for SMS alerts and webhook/Slack destinations you provide).
- Screenshots and analysis results. We capture screenshots of the public web pages you configure and store them, along with automated analysis of what changed. See "Screenshots of monitored pages" below.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; we retain your plan, subscription status, and invoice history.
- Usage and log data. IP address, browser type, pages visited within our app, and activity logs used for security auditing.
How we use information
- To provide the service: capture and compare screenshots, detect changes, and deliver alerts through the channels you choose.
- To analyze detected changes, which may involve processing screenshots through automated AI analysis systems, including third-party AI processing providers acting on our behalf.
- To bill you, manage your subscription and free trial, and send transactional email about your account.
- To secure and improve the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- With your consent only: to understand how visitors use our website (analytics) and to measure whether our own advertising works (advertising measurement). These run only if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner — see "Cookies" below.
We do not sell your personal information. We advertise our own service; we do not use your data to advertise anyone else's.
Screenshots of monitored pages
The service works by photographing web pages you tell us to watch. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to monitor the URLs you configure. Screenshots may incidentally contain personal information displayed on those public pages; we use them solely to provide change detection and history to you, and they are retained per your plan's history limits.
Cookies
Cookies on this site fall into three groups. Essential cookies are always on — the site cannot work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default and load only if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner; choosing "Essential only" keeps them off.

You can change your mind at any time: reset your cookie choice and the banner will ask again.
Our payment processor sets its own cookies on its checkout pages under its own privacy policy.
How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run AI SiteWatch — payment processing (Stripe), email and SMS delivery, hosting infrastructure, and automated screenshot analysis — under agreements that limit their use of your data, or when required by law. If you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) receive the usage data those tools collect, as described in the Cookies table above. We never sell your information.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Screenshots and change history are retained according to your plan's history limits. If you cancel, we delete or anonymize your monitoring data within 90 days of account closure, except records we must keep for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing, optional two-factor authentication is available on every account, and account activity is logged for security auditing. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we design for it and monitor for abuse.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@aisitewatch.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EEA/UK), you may have additional statutory rights — including the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and non-discrimination for exercising those rights. We honor verified requests regardless of jurisdiction.
Children
AI SiteWatch is a business tool, not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify active customers by email before the changes take effect.
